The XE1500 evaporative cooling fan delivers powerful cooling at an affordable price. Designed to cool the surrounding air, rather than wet objects, the XE1500 propels cooled, humidified air up to 9m (30ft.). Need a smaller unit ? - Aqua400 evaporative spot cooling fan.

When combined with 360 degree oscillator, it will cool an area of up to 254m2 (2828sq. ft.), making it ideal for use outdoors, or in larger factories, warehouses, workshops etc.

The XE1500 is designed around a unique nozzle free design. Orifices in the fan blades release small particles of water measuring less than 5 microns, this has many benefits:

• The orifices produce an ultra-fine fog with uniform distribution and coverage, so wetting and drips are minimised. The XE1500 is supplied with an adjustable flow controller (2 – 24 gph) that gives precise control over the cooling effect.

• The orifices are self-flushing, they won’t clog up and use ordinary tap water – filtration and special water treatments are unnecessary.

• The XE1500 requires only 5 psi to work. It connects straight to the mains water supply. If this is not available the XE1500 will operate with a gravity fed system, i.e. a water container installed above the fan.

Construction

The XE1500 evaporative cooling fan is manufactured to withstand humid and corrosive environments. It is manufactured from corrosion resistant UV stabilised polyethylene, PVC dip coated steel and sulphuric anodised aluminium.

For maximum reliability, the XE1500 evaporative cooler is fitted with a maintenance-free wash down proof motor, designed specifically for wet, corrosive environments.

Optional accessories

The XE1500 is designed for overhead installation. An optional heavy duty floor stand is available where this is not possible. The floor stand is manufactured from durable steel reinforced thick wall polyethylene. For extra stability the base can be filled with water or sand. The stand has 5 height settings up to a maximum of 1.99m, and will accommodate a fan oscillator if required.

The optional XE1500 oscillator provides constant rotation. The arc can be set from 3.75 degrees to a full 2 minute rotation of 360 degrees. By enhancing air movement and creating a more uniform coverage the constant movement of the oscillator allows higher fog outputs while maintaining dryness.

Installation

The XE1500 evaporative cooling fan is designed for quick and easy installation. It is supplied with:

• 3.6m (12ft.) heavy duty power lead fitted with a standard 13A UK plug
• 6m (20ft.) poly-flo water line
• 3m (10ft.) water drainage pipe
• Adjustable hanging bracket
• Adjustable flow meter
• Easy to follow operators guide.

Most users can install the XE1500 with basic tools and without specialist assistance.

For efficient and reliable evaporative cooling it is important to use the right number of fans.

Allow one XE1500 per 2,200 - 3000 square feet of floor space.

For example, a 10,000 square foot warehouse would need  10000/3000 = 3.3 In this case 4 XE1500 evaporative cooling fans will provide effective cooling.

The XE1500 evaporative cooling fan is designed for continuous operation in industrial environments, and is built to the highest standards. We are confident it will give years of trouble free operation. However in the unlikely event a fault does occur, it has a full 1 year return to base parts and labour warranty.
