Activair portable fans are used to provide high volume air movement in commercial premises such as factories and workshops to:

Sizes of Activair portable fans

Activair portable fans are available with either 450mm (18") or 560mm (22") diameter fans. Producing 5400 m3/hr (3180cfm) or 10800 m3/hr (6360cfm) respectively. Activair portable fans have a built in on-off switch and speed controller, which allows the air volume to be adjusted from approximately 40% to full output.

Features of Activair portable fans

Activair portable fans have a broad base for stability. Built in carrying handles allow them to be easily moved from place to place. Each portable fan has a locking tilt adjustment that allows the outlet air to be directed up or down as required.

The fan motors are totally enclosed, sealed for life, and fully protected against overload. Activair portable cooling fans need no maintenance, and are suitable for use in damp and dusty environments.

Activair portable fans are manufactured from mild steel for long life. The casings and stands are coated in durable corrosion resistant epoxy paint. Bright zinc plated metal finger guards protect users from harm.

Electricity supply requirements for Activair portable fans

Activair portable cooling fans are designed for 230V single phase 50Hz electrical supplies, and are suitable for use in the UK, most of Europe, Eastern Europe and the Middle East, but not the USA.

Activair portable fans are ready to use straight from the box

Activair portable fans are supplied with a 4 metre mains lead fitted with a standard 13A UK mains plug. They are ready to use straight from the box. No assembly or special installation is needed.
