Enhanced safety industrial fan heaters
Activair enhanced safety industrial fan heaters are intended for use in premises
which pose a risk of fire because of airborne dust particles, such as livestock barns,
carpenters workshops, mills etc.
Activair enhanced safety industrial fan heaters have low surface temperature elements which will not
ignite the dust, and have been tested and approved in accordance
with Semko 111FF-1987 for 'use in premises that entail a risk of fire'.
Activair enhanced safety industrial fan heaters are available in 3kW 230V, 6kW and 9kW 400V versions,
and can be stood on the floor or wall mounted. They are manufactured from corrosion resistant stainless
steel, are protected to IP 65, and are suitable for use in damp and humid environments.

Activair enhanced safety industrial fan heaters have been designed to provide
years of trouble free operation:
Fan motors - maintenance free, totally enclosed and sealed for life.
Dual purpose bracket - for mounting the heater on a wall or sitting it on the floor
Stainless steel low surface temperature elements - to reduce the risk of fire.
Overheat protection - built in safety device with manual reset prevents overheating.
Industrial fan heaters - controls
Activair enhanced safety industrial fan heaters are completely self
contained,
each heater contains:
High accuracy capillary thermostat - adjustable between 0 and 35 C
Safety overheat cutout - with manual reset
Output control - full heat, half heat, and fan only
Fan control - continuous or intermittent operation
An optional remote external start/stop switch (RST) is available
for use when the heater is permanently mounted out of reach.
It measures 72 x 105 x 70mm and is protected to IP 65.

accordance with the LVD directive, and for electro-magnetic interference in accordance with the EMC

230V single phase or 400V 3 phase 50Hz electricity supplies. They are suitable for use in the
UK, most of Europe, Eastern Europe and the Middle East, but not the United States.
