Wall mounted extractor fan - DISCONTINUED
Activair wall mounted
extractor fans are designed to extract hot air, fumes and smoke from commercial
and industrial premises such as factories, warehouses and workshops. They are
perfect for demanding applications, which require quiet, high volume
ventilation, and are available in 3 sizes with a maximum extraction rate of
5857 m3/hr.
Each extractor fan is supplied complete, ready to install with:
Internal aluminium louvre grille coated with a white epoxy powder finish.
Telescopic galvanised steel wall liner Adjustable from 230mm to 390mm to suit most walls, with a cut-out for concealed cable
entry.
External grey polypropylene louvre shutter, to prevent
outside air entering the building. The louvre is opened by the airflow when the
fan starts.
IP55 terminal box for easy wiring.
Fan and Motor
Activair extractor fans are
fitted with high efficiency motors, which are totally maintenance free and
sealed for life. The motors have built in thermal overload protection, are
THCL 155 insulated to EN60034-5, and weatherproofed to IP54. For quiet operation
they are sealed inside the wall housing.
The impellors are individually factory adjusted and balanced to ISO14694 grade G6.3, to deliver maximum airflow, with
minimum vibration and noise.

Activair wall mounted extractor fans are manufactured in the UK, and are CE marked.
Operating temperature
The maximum operating temperature is -20C to 70C for fixed speed operation, and 50C when utilized with speed
control.
Operating voltage
Activair wall mounted extractor fans are designed for 220 – 240V 50Hz single phase electricity
supplies. They are suitable for use in the UK, and most of Europe and the
Middle East. Unfortunately they are not suitable for use in the USA.
Electronic speed controllers
An optional panel or wall mounted electronic speed control is available. The control has an
illuminated on/off switch and separate speed control knob.
One speed control is required per extractor fan.

Calculating the fan size needed for ventilation
Ventilation rates are expressed in 'air changes per hour'. The
size of fan
is determined by the volume of the room and its use.

confident that they are totally reliable. However, in the unlikely event a
fault may occur, they have a full 1 year return to base parts and labour guarantee.
