Where can the Air-jammer fan be used? The Air-jammer fan was originally used in industrial buildings, such as factories, workshops, and warehouses. However, its sleek black housing and quiet fan have made it popular in large offices, retail units, gymnasiums, sports halls etc.Can it be used outdoors? The Air-jammer is designed for indoor use. If it is used outdoors it must be protected from rainfall. What is the Air-jammer used for?It is designed to produce high volumes of relatively slow moving air, and so is primarily used as a cooling fan in large open areas. How big an area will it cool? The Air-jammer produces a massive 12500 cubic metres of air per hour. For effective cooling the room air should pass through the fan 8 to 10 times per hour, so allow one Air-jammer per 1250 cubic meters.Remember for maximum effect, to keep doors and windows open. Can it be used as a spot cooler? We don't recommend it. Spot cooling requires high air speeds, see portable-fan for a more suitable alternative. How noisy is it?At 58dBA it is quieter than fans half its size. It is quiet enough for use in shops and large offices. Most people are happy to continue working within a couple of metres of it.Why choose the Air-jammer?Rather than using a small high speed fan, the Air-jammer has a large 630mm fan which rotates at a relatively slow 870 RPM, which has several advantages:Low Noise - air and fan noise are kept to a minimum How does a fan improve comfort?Perceived comfort is improved because:Moving air feels cooler than still air. How easy is it to move around?
The Air-jammer has two large wheels, which means one person can wheel it around without assistance. The Air-jammer weighs 40kg, so never attempt to lift it alone. How is the output adjusted?A stepless electronic speed control allows the output to be adjusted to suit any application. The fan can also be tilted to any angle to change the air direction. Loosen the locking handles each side of the fan housing, set the fan at the required angle and retighten (see picture above).
