4 outlet commercial spot cooler

With the addition of a 4 outlet high pressure head the BCM35 commercial spot cooler can deliver cold air simultaneously to four separate areas.

The high pressure head has a built in centrifugal fan which is powered by the BCM35 spot cooler. It is able to deliver cool air through a total of 16m (approx 50ft.) of flexible ducting. i.e. 1 - 16m duct or 2 - 8m ducts, etc.

The high pressure head has 4 - 150mm (6") diameter outlets.

Note: the BCM35 high pressure head is only available as an accessory for our BCM35 commercial spot cooler. It is not compatible with any other make or model of cooler, and is only available when purchased with a BCM35 spot cooler.

Fitting the high pressure head and flexible ducting

The high pressure head is supplied separately, and needs to be fitted to the BCM35 before it can be used. To fit it proceed as follows:

Remove the four phillips screws securing the front grille on the front of the BCM35.

Locate the 3 pin connector inside the the opening and plug the power supply lead from the high pressure head into it.

Secure the head using the 4 screws removed earlier.

Remove the plastic caps from the outlets and slide the flexible ducting into place, fixing them in place with jubilee clips. The plastic caps should be left on any unused outlets.

Using the high pressure head

The BCM35 has three fan speeds.

When using the high pressure head, the fan speed
MUST be kept at its MAXIMUM setting.

Keep the cold air flexible ducts and hot air exhaust duct as short, and as straight as possible. Long runs, tight corners and kinks will reduce the efficiency of the spot cooler.

Applications of the 4 outlet head

The 4 outlet head can be used to distribute cool air to four separate areas, to deliver cold air to personnel working in hot enclosed spaces, or cool specific equipment or processes.

Below a BCM35 spot cooler fitted with a 4 outlet head and 2 flexible ducts is being used to cool a turbocharged car, while the engine management system is adjusted.
