Offshore fan heaters

Activair offshore fan heaters are heavy duty maritime heaters intended for use onboard ships and offshore platforms. They have strengthened motor mountings and stayed elements to withstand the roughest sea conditions, and are supplied with a dual purpose floor stand/wall bracket that allows the heater to be fixed to the deck, or mounted on a bulkhead via 4 x 8mm fixing points on 335 x 275mm centres.

Activair V3.6 and V6 offshore fan heaters are protected to IP 44 and are available with 3.6kW (model V3.6) or 6kW (model V6) outputs for connection to 440V 3 phase and earth 50-60Hz electricity supply. A neutral connection is not required.

Accessories for Activair offshore fan heaters

Where our offshore heaters are to be installed in an inaccessible location, an external remote control box (RTC) is available. The RTC contains a built in thermostat (0 to 35 degrees C) and output selector switch, and is protected to IP 65. Dimensions 140 x 175 x 100mm.

Maritime fan heaters - electricity supply requirements

Our V3.6 and V6 offshore heaters are designed for use with 440V 3 phase 50/60Hz electrical supplies as found onboard ships and offshore platforms.
They are not suitable for standard UK or European electrical supplies.
